The India Oriental

Working very closely to my friends and family, India Oriental was the chosen colour palette and design. Based on the traditional henna and rajasthani design, the India design is very reminiscent of the their culture and identity. Just like the Batik design, the India design was developed with daily feedback from an Indian friend who helped gather feedback on my design with other Indian students that were living abroad to better inform me if this design reminded them of home. Similar to Batik true, I also made 6 different colour palettes and let friends and family from India vote on the colour that best reminded them of India and in the end the oriental red and gold was voted for the India Bag. From there, I also created a staple Logo for the kit based on the India map to better signify the bag's intended design. Personally, this was my favourite colour pattern. Now, time for the next country's bag.
